You were changed in Him!

“Brothers in the context of our inclusion in Christ, we are blameless; we participate in this heavenly identity. We have become fully acquainted with Christ Jesus as the Ambassador and Chief Priest of our confession. Our lives co-echo the logic of God’s eternal conversation in him.”

Heb. 3:1(Mirror Word, trans.)

This life seems to move and radiate with such shifts, sometimes they seem to contain such ecstasy and at other moments such devastation.  As a people of experience, we sometimes think and begin to believe all these moments added together define our person.  Yet, in the midst of it all there is a whisper.

There is a voice, an echo, calling us to remembrance, not of circumstances and situations, but a whisper that speaks of who we are.  In this quiet utterance, there is solace and peace. The voice of the eternal I Am, speaks not of your failures or successes, He speaks to your inner being.  He speaks of a man of grace, a man not confused or defined by raw situations for what He sees is his Son. I’ve heard many times the phrase, “its going to change your life” or, “God changed my life”  and being  one who likes to take things and reconsider what is being said, I started to contemplate this very phrase. God became man, that man would now know himself in God.

The God kind of life isn’t that it would change you into something new, but to bring to remembrance what you had always been in Him. In Christ, he fully represented mankind and took all adverse and confusing and even ecstatic circumstances and brought context to you in Himself. The good news of resurrection life is that now God experiences life through you, as you in Him: “For He lives and moves and has his being” in us.  A life sustained by grace.
